More Sprinkler Blowouts In Boise On Tuesday

%$^&*##$%$!!! Okay, glad to get that out of my system…… Yesterday was an awesome day for sprinkler blowouts, but not without it's issues. My brand new 12v powered hose reel I just paid almost $600 for decided to drop it's chain several times yesterday putting me nearly two hours behind. Not good from what is supposed to be a high-quality powered hosereel….. I finally got it adjusted enough where it would stay in place.

I was still able to get 17 out of the 21 sprinkler blowouts I had on my current 83702 list, so will finish up the remaining ones this morning and will then head over to the Boise 83704 zip code. As before, since I have to work on the 83702 for a bit, I most likely will not make it through the entire 83704 list. See the map below for routing information for the Boise 83704. The first stop in the 83704 will be on Erick Lane, and the final stop will be on Joretta Drive, but most likely will not make it that far. Let's see what happens! Please have checks ready and addressed to "The Maintenance Shop."

For our long-time customers who are used to seeing our sprinkler blowouts stats for the year, it isn't there…..  yet.  I ran into some formatting errors this time around, so I will post it as soon as I work out the kinks.

If everything goes as planned, we will have "Unit II" working in Meridian on Wednesday while I am working  elsewhere.

Hi Steve – I really like the way you are posting the maps for each day.  It helps to have an idea of where we fall in the day.

It would be helpful if you could mark the "start" address so it is possible to tell if I'm near the beginning or near the end.  When you are working with two machines, I don't know if you leap-frog or start one from each end. If you start from each end, you could mark one end as "Start Team 1" and the other "Start Team 2" or something.

Just a thought.  Thanks for working to improve the information you provide each year.  It is appreciated!

      Kelly,

I did post the start and stop points in the route.  It will be highly unlikely we will be using two machines in the same zip code, or even on the same route unless in Meridian as stated in an earlier post.  The other machine will be in Meridian the entire time.  We were planning on running it in Meridian on Wednesday, but my son will be stuck at home with a sick 3 year old daughter.  We will try for Thursday for the Meridian machine.

Thanks for the compliment.  I am constantly trying to come up with ways to improve communication, especially when it is obvious phone calls just will not work in this situation.
