I found out today that some do not like my sense of humor here on this blog. Oh well, that is why I am a home repair technician and do not do stand-up comedy. I would probably go broke in a hurry………
With the surprise help of my assistant, we knocked out all but 12 of the blowouts we currently have in the Boise 83706. Sadly, I got a two hour late start yesterday because my routing software was giving me a lot of trouble because a customer put the 83706 zip code on their form, when in actuality it is in the 83702. Looks like someone doesn't know where they live! Oops! There is another attempt at humor that I will probably get scolded about……..
So today I will finish the remaining in the Boise 83706 and then prepare for Meridian.
New Tentative Schedule
See, told you the schedule wouldn't hold. There are always too many variables. That is why I call it "tentative." I will have to extend some periods in certain areas to get the numbers down more quickly. So, here goes…..
November 3-4 ~ Meridian 83642 (city water areas only)
November 5-6 ~ Melba and Kuna
November 7 ~ Middleton and Star
November 8 ~ Star and Caldwell
November 9 ~ Possible personal day (explained below)
November 10 ~ Nampa 83651
November 11-12 ~ Nampa 83686
November 13-14 ~ Nampa 83687
November 15-16 ~ Meridian 83646
November 17-18 ~ Boise 83709
November 19-20 ~ Meridian 83642
November 21-22 ~ Meridian 83646
Thanksgiving ~ ( I do my own city system sprinkler blowout)
November 24-25 ~ Boise 83709
November 26-27 ~ Meridian 83642
November 28-29 ~ Meridian 83646
Personal Day: As my long-time customers know, I usually take November 9 off for my wife's birthday because for the past 20 years with the hectic blowout schedule when I get back to my home office it is paperwork until midnight or later, then some sleep, more paperwork in the morning and then off again for the day, Rinse and repeat. She has gotten used to the routine, but I would like one day during the hectic 6-8 week period to spend some time with her so she doesn't feel neglected. I'll leave that up to her this year, and let everyone know her decision.
We will get to the other areas not shown, but not until we get the number WAY down in the Boise 83709 and Meridian. We currently have 140 remaining in the Meridian 83646 which would take a full week at the most to do, and of course even with cancellations and new requests this number could easily go up.
